Taiwan is once again inviting innovators from around the world to turn promising health and wellness ideas into real-world solutions. Following the global launch of the Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026 campaign in May, the initiative is now accepting proposals from startups, researchers, institutions, organizations, and innovators worldwide, including participants from Malaysia.

Organized by Taiwan’s International Trade Administration (TITA), Ministry of Economic Affairs, and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this year’s campaign revolves around the theme Designing Healthier Futures Together. The goal is to encourage participants to build scalable solutions by incorporating Taiwan’s expertise in smart healthcare, medical devices, sports and fitness technology, healthy ageing, and wellness.
One of the biggest additions this year is the new Top 20 Mentorship Program. Rather than focusing only on the final winners, the program gives the top 20 finalists direct access to industry experts who can help refine business strategies, validate market opportunities, accelerate commercialization, and establish international partnerships.
The 2025 edition has attracted 638 submissions from 55 countries, and several winning projects have already progressed beyond the competition. Ukraine’s winning team deployed Taiwanese medical equipment in healthcare facilities while reinvesting its prize money into additional hospital donations and equipment procurement. In Switzerland, Perovskia partnered with Everlight Chemical on research published in Nature, with pilot production expected in 2026. Meanwhile, in the United States, Ideas Lab worked with the Taiwan Institute of Sports Science (TISS) to introduce AI-powered motion analysis technology that makes professional-grade sports training more accessible.
How to Join
Participants are required to submit their proposals in English through the official campaign website. Each submission should explain the proposed solution, its expected impact, and how it incorporates Taiwanese products, technologies, services, or business models. Entries will be assessed based on predefined judging criteria. Submissions will be closed on August 5, 11:59 PM, with no modifications to the submission details once submitted.
For the prize pool, the top 3 winners will each receive US$30,000, while all Top 20 finalists will benefit from personalized mentoring. 6 finalists will also earn a sponsored trip to Taiwan, where they will meet leading Taiwanese companies, experience the country’s health innovation ecosystem firsthand, and compete in the final round.
