First on the list is the three core products that represents the major focus of the brand – Storage, Security, and Surveillance.
The PAS7700 is built around the active-active dual-controller architecture for high-end SAN platforms, and is positioned as highly reliable by eliminating single points of failure while delivering continuous service availability. The series focuses heavily on NVMe flash performance, low latency, and enterprise resiliency, supporting both file and block storage protocols for virtualization, databases, AI workloads, and large-scale business applications.
Meanwhile, the DP7400 is a purpose-built backup appliance under the ActiveProtect family, combining hardware and backup software into a single integrated platform. Unlike traditional NAS-based backup deployments, the DP7400 arrives preconfigured with ActiveProtect Manager and is designed specifically for centralized data protection across physical servers, virtual machines, databases, SaaS applications, and remote sites.
It supports large-scale deployments of up to hundreds of thousands of workloads, while features such as immutable backups, air-gapped protection, global source-side deduplication, ransomware defense mechanisms, and disaster recovery validation are built directly into the platform.
Lastly, the DVA7400 is a dedicated surveillance analytics server rather than a conventional NAS. Built around Synology’s Deep Video Analytics platform, it combines large-scale video recording with AI-powered monitoring features such as facial recognition, people and vehicle detection, intrusion alerts, crowd counting, and occupancy analysis.
The system is designed for organizations that need real-time video intelligence across multiple camera streams while maintaining centralized management through Synology’s surveillance ecosystem. It effectively serves as the flagship appliance for enterprises, campuses, factories, and smart building deployments where video analytics are as important as video storage.
Moving onto the next section, we have a enterprise demo setup comprising of PAS7700, PAS3600, GS3400, FlashStation Series, HD Series, Rackstation XS+/XS Series – all slided into racks to simulate the various needs of a given business, and here’s what they do:
- PAS7700 – Active-active dual-controller NVMe enterprise storage; 48 U.3 NVMe SSD bays in 4U; scales up to 216 drives / 1.65PB raw capacity; up to 2 million IOPS and 30GB/s throughput; supports NVMe-oF, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, SMB and NFS; up to 2TB memory; designed for mission-critical workloads with multi-layer failover and immutable data protection.
- PAS3600 – Entry-level PAS Series active-active storage platform; dual-controller architecture for high availability; optimized for block and file workloads; supports enterprise SAN protocols; built around simplified management through DSM Enterprise; positioned as a more accessible deployment option within the PAS family.
- GS3400 – Dedicated surveillance storage appliance; dual-controller architecture for uninterrupted recording; optimized for large-scale video surveillance deployments; supports extensive camera counts and retention requirements; integrates with Synology surveillance ecosystem for centralized management.
- FlashStation Series – All-flash storage platform; SSD-optimized architecture for low-latency workloads; designed for virtualization, databases and high-IOPS applications; scalable enterprise deployment options; integrates with Synology’s DSM ecosystem and data protection suite.
- HD Series – High-density storage server platform; up to 60 drive bays in a 4U chassis; expandable to hundreds of drives with expansion units; enterprise-grade Xeon-based architecture; high-capacity storage for backup, archiving and surveillance; designed for multi-petabyte deployments.
- RackStation XS+/XS Series – Enterprise rackmount NAS lineup; high-performance Intel-based platform; supports 10/25/40GbE networking expansion; scalable storage capacity and memory configurations; designed for virtualization, backup, file serving and business-critical applications; supports Synology High Availability and advanced data protection features.

For ActiveProtect Manager, they talked about ways to help businesses get the most of their storage in the modern era where storage is at record break price and choked supply – deduplication technique.
By removing redundant data that is already available in the storage during backup cycles, users can also experience slightly faster backup speed as well.
On the other hand, Synology also announced that their storage solution is compatible with all major cloud storage platforms with centralized control – so one access leads to full monitoring and management.

Aside from all the storage solutions, Synology is also well known in the access control and premise surveillance field, as they showcased existing and new CCTV SKUs in various shape and capabilities.
Speaking of access control, the hub and digital lock is still within the final steps of R&D which will be coming soon.
As for software, they demonstrated an interesting way of safeguarding your data within the confines of the user/organizations – Synology Meet. Not only one can set up ways to communicate and collaborate without data traces on 3rd-party platforms, the “De-ID” is capable of stripping unique data with identifiers before feeding them into LLMs, adding another layer of privacy confidence from this productivity suite.
