At Gamescom 2024, not only monitors and network products are part of the ROG show but also the amount of new peripherals revealed that are esports-ready. Let’s see what’s in store.

ROG Falchion Ace HFX

First, we have the ROG Falchion Ace FHX wired gaming keyboard that hosts a 65% layout in a 60% footprint which means it is quite compact. Equipped with the new ROG FHX magnetic switches, this is basically the new era of gaming keyboards for per-key actuation point adjustment from 0.1 to 4.0mm. It also has an 8000Hz polling rate and 0.125ms response time.

Pretty sure you’ve heard about Rapid Trigger from the pioneer HE brand Wooting so there’s that while SOCD a.k.a “null bind” is known as Speed Tap here (Don’t use it in unsanctioned rulesets please.)

The board also comes with a set of dampening foam and silicon gasket mount design which means a softer typing experience than tray mount boards but still, there won’t be any practical flex.

Ah yes, the multifunction button and interactive touch panel will help users get access to different customization and media functions instantly while the RGB light bar is just icing on the cake. Additionally, the board can be connected to 2 PCs at once and lets you switch between with a simple toggle. There’s a keyboard cover included in each retail package.

ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless

For the people who need to live with a Numpad, why not try out the 1800 layout ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX wireless gaming keyboard running ROG RX optical switches with near-zero debounce delay. Aside from the usual foam-packed innards and multifunction button and wheel for controlling almost anything, it also has an 8000Hz polling rate and 0.125ms response time when paired with the ROG Polling Rate Booster USB dongle.

As such, it is a tri-mode connectivity board and should come in handy for typing across different devices. A unique look was given to it with the set of ROG UV-coated ABS keycaps.

ROG Harpe Ace Mini

Now for the gaming mouse department, we’ll start with the ROG Harpe Ace Mini which is a smaller version of the ROG Harpe Ace as expected. All goodies from the standard version are maintained in this 49-gram model featuring a 42,000 DPI ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor with Track-On-Glass tech plus a smooth matte coating. The ROG Optical micro switch provides instant actuation and 100M clicks lifespan while  ROG SpeedNova enables ultra-responsive 2.4GHz connection with up to 105 hours of battery life. One can also use the ROG Omni Receiver to keep some of the USB ports available.

ROG Strix Impact III Wireless

Another mouse is the ROG Strix Impact III now available in Moonlight White colorway. Otherwise, nothing has been changed. You liked this before you’ll like it more in that clean, clear paint.

ROG Pelta

Lastly, the audio department welcomes the ROG Pelta, a tri-mode wireless gaming headset compatible with PCs, Macs, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch as well as smartphones. Rocking a set of 50mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers for rich and detail sound, it can cover frequencies from 20Hz upwards of 20KHz with ease. Meanwhile, the 10mm super-wideband boom microphone capture’s user voice clearly.

Ideal for extended gaming sessions, the elastic fabric headband and lightweight design of just 309g provides utmost comfort to the wearer and with a full charge, it can last up to 60 hours in 2.4GHz mode. Forgot to charge it? Then a 15-min charging duration can give around 3 hours of use.
