Most of you wouldn’t know that Razer actually has a “luxury-esque” tier in their portfolio, it’s called Signature Edition, and only a few models are accepted into the lineup, but today, another member has been announced, and it’s the Huntsman Signature Edition keyboard.
This specific build utilizes a full CNC aluminum body that has been anodized and hand-polished to full smoothness, as well as coming with a PVD finishing for that clean and shiny look. Sounds closer to a full-on custom keyboard if you ask me. The inside, as expected, is stuffed with foams and dampening materials for a thocky sound profile.
Meanwhile, it uses the latest Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 with support for many HE-based features, such as Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap, on top of increased durability thanks to the optical-based mechanism. It is also 8K polling for minimal latency across the board, while the textured doubleshot PBT keycaps and a striking triple-headed snake keycap wrap up the package.
Following the good ol’ Razer tradition, only 1337 units will be created, each carrying a unique serial and unit number for authenticity. For all of these, it’s gonna cost you US$499.99 and is only available through the official website and selected stores, starting on February 22, 8AM PT.
