For this year’s CES showdown, MSI is going all-in on a complete PC building ecosystem, aiming to make everything from overclocking to cable management more accessible, while still pushing serious performance for enthusiasts.
On the motherboard front, they are showcasing the new “MAX” series motherboards to give Team Red users more power through the AMD X870(E) and B850 MAX series. These boards come with an integrated OC Engine that enables asynchronous BCLK tuning, unlocking up to 15% higher gaming performance in supported scenarios, while features like the Direct OC Jumper and one-click BCLK Booster let users tweak performance directly from within the OS. MSI is also future-proofing things with a larger 64MB BIOS chip across the MAX lineup, giving more room for upcoming AMD processors and features.
For extreme overclockers, the MEG X870E UNIFY-X MAX comes with the standard 2-DIMM layout for pushing CPU and DDR5 memory performance to the limit, backed by a serious thermal setup with a direct-touch cross heat-pipe, high-performance thermal pads, and a double-sided EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II. There’s also a physical Tuning Controller now, making it easy to adjust OC settings, clear CMOS, or recover profiles with a single press, which feels very much aimed at competitive overclocking setups (Or if you wanna be extra fancy to your setup).
Meanwhile, the MAG B850 MAX series is the mainstream option, with models like the TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI II, MORTAR MAX WIFI, and the new all-white GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI. These boards still pack robust power delivery, Wi-Fi 7, 5G LAN, and MSI’s expanded BIOS, but they lean heavily into EZ DIY features such as tool-free M.2 installation, one-click GPU release, and a simplified Wi-Fi antenna, making them friendlier for everyday builders.
Now this is something new, as Team Blue gets some love in the form of a live demo that highlights the 4-Rank CUDIMM memory support in partnership with ADATA. Its R&D team has managed to validate up to 256GB of memory on a 2-DIMM motherboard design, while still hitting over 10,000 MT/s in testing, and MSI claims performance gains of over 63% when overclocked
Modern hardware requires sophisticated power delivery, and one can find it through the new premium tier PSU, the MPG Ai1600TS and Ai1300TS PCIE5 that combines Titanium efficiency, Japanese capacitors, dual native 12V-2×6 connectors, and quiet operation together with the brand new GPU Safeguard+ tech that monitors the 12V-2×6 connector in real-time time, ssuing on-screen alerts through MSI Center and even audible warnings from the PSU itself if abnormal current is detected.

At every big tech event, the Red Dragon will always showcase something, so you can’t count fancy PC chassis out, at least not the MEG MAESTRO 900R armed with a triple-sided glass panoramic case designed to show off every component, while supporting extreme custom water-cooling, dual GPUs, and an EZ Rotatable Motherboard Tray that lets builders work on their system outside the case.
Pair that with the MEG CORELIQUID E15 360, and the showpiece effect is complete thanks to the large 6.67-inch 2K curved OLED display, a thicker 31mm radiator, redesigned fans for better airflow, and a single-cable EZ Conn setup to reduce clutter.
Air cooler gang got some new stuff too – the dual-tower MPG COREFROZR AP15 and AP17 running distinctive designs that do not compromise RAM clearance.
At COMPUTEX 2025, MSI has gone through and pushed out a whole series dedicated to VTubing (from the design approach, at the very least). Now, they are going for the next step through DigiM,E which is a ready-to-use VTuber software platform. It supports multiple languages, integrates with Voicemod, works with customizable avatars and virtual environments, and even includes MIA, an AI voice assistant that acts as an MSI product expert. It’s a surprising addition, but one that fits MSI’s broader push into creator-focused tools.
