Logitech has announced something new that wants to solve one mildly annoying “first-world problem” – mice that are too big. Introducing the Mobi Fold, a foldable mouse.
This unit can morph from a compact travel-friendly form factor into a full mouse for everyday use, and Logitech has tied that mechanism directly to power management, meaning it automatically turns on when unfolded and powers off when folded away.
It comes with Adaptive Touch Scrolling, allowing users to switch between precise line-by-line scrolling and faster navigation, while its 4K DPI sensor handles tracking duties. Users can also customize the touch panel buttons, scrolling behavior, and pointer speed through the Logi Options+ software.
Aside from Bluetooth connection and Logitech Easy-Switch support for tri-device pairing, it is also cross-platform compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux systems. Google users also get Fast Pair support, making Mobi Fold Logitech’s first input device to receive Fast Pair certification.
Logitech also made sure it is durable through drop testing and dust-resistant surface treatment alongside a hinge rated for up to 15 years of use. Quiet-click buttons are included for working in shared spaces such as cafes, airports, and hotel lobbies, while an on-device AI model helps prevent accidental clicks during the folding process.
Battery life is geared toward travel as well. A one-minute quick charge can deliver up to 22 hours of usage, while a full charge is rated to last up to one month.
