As of this week, ASUS has finalized the shift of Intel’s Next Unit of Computing (NUC) portfolio to itself.

Intel NUC to ASUS Ceremony

In the near future, ASUS will introduce its own systems featuring Intel’s 10th to 13th-generation CPUs, and this shift in ownership and product offerings is primarily aimed at enhancing deployment convenience in commercial and AIoT solutions.

ASUS has seamlessly integrated this product line into its existing portfolio, ensuring that current customers can easily continue their business relationships without too drastic changes.

The ASUS NUC Business Unit (BU) will now take over the once famous “Intel NUC” name with the added expertise of several old team members merging into ASUS as well.

With everything within their hands, they expect significant advancements in software and cloud computing-focused research and development efforts leading to an expanded presence of NUC products used by various sectors, including professional and AI programming, government agencies, enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as edge computing and industrial applications.
