GTX 1060 3GB Leaked Specs Shows Lower CUDA Cores 1
The 6GB model for GeForce GTX 1060 launch is just around the corner but there’s no official announcement on the availability of the 3GB model, just yet. An alleged specs for the 3GB GTX 1060 on BenchLife suggests that  most of the specs will remain the same as the 6GB model, i.e 192-bit bus, display output of 3x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0b and 1x DVI, etc, but it is equipped with a different GP106-300 that comes with lower CUDA core count of 1152 in total instead of the GP106-400 on the 6GB GTX 1060 with 1280 CUDA core count.

It is also reported that NVIDIA will be launching the 3GB GTX 1060 in 2 – 3 weeks after the 6GB GTX 1060 on July 19th and will come at a lower price of $149 – $199 for users with a much tighter budget from their gaming system, which is clear that NVIDIA is planning to tackle its competitor’s upcoming 4GB RX 470 that comes with the same price tag.
