G.SKILL has revealed a new Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 memory kit that comes with a specification of DDR5-8400 2x24GB, designed for the latest 14th Gen Intel Core desktop processor and Intel Z790 chipset platform.
To begin with, the Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-8400 CL40-52-52-134 48GB (2x24GB) has been tested on the Intel Core i9-14900K desktop processor along with ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard, and it showcases impressive memory bandwidth speeds of 128.88GB/s read, 127.03GB/s write, and 123.83GB/s copy in the AIDA64 memory bandwidth benchmark.
Besides that, the brand has unveiled a DDR5-8600 CL40-54-54-136 specification, which was also validated on the Intel Core i9-14900K desktop processor and ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard as follows:
And of course, all these memory kits have Intel XMP 3.0 memory overclocking profile support to provide users with easy and convenient memory overclocking through a compatible motherboard’s BIOS.
Availability
While there’s no word on its price yet, the G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-8400 memory will be available at some point sometime in late October 2023.
