Cooler Master has released the MM720 gaming mouse that strikes an ergonomic form factor while being extremely light.
Taking inspiration from the older Xornet and Spawn models, it uses said model’s overall shape and feel while replacing the housing with a honeycomb shell-shaped design similar to the MM711 series. Packing a weave cable that is also lightweight on its own, the entire unit comes with at just 49g of weight while maintaining gaming-grade hardware such as 16000DPI sensors, PTFE feet for uncompromised glides, and the mouse is applied with dust- and water-resistant material rated and certified at IP58 to keep hazardous stuff such as liquid from damaging internal parts because you know, it has holes.
The thing I don’t understand is, how does this MM720 which is larger than the MM711, be lighter? Perhaps there are changes to how the plastic housing is made – but we’ll have to try it for ourselves to know for sure.
