ASUS Malaysia’s latest launch in the desktop segment is the latest V500 SFF that leans into lifestyle-focused design built around the ‘Quiet Tech, Brilliant Living’ concept.
On the performance side, it’s powered by an Intel Core 7 240H processor for ample power to handle everyday workloads like school tasks, file management, and even some light creative work without feeling sluggish. They’re also bundling in Microsoft Office Home 2024 and a Microsoft 365 Basic subscription, so it’s pretty much ready to go out of the box for productivity.
Connectivity is well covered too, with dual display outputs, multiple USB ports, plus Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 to keep up with a modern connected setup. For noise and thermals, they utilized a ompact cooling design with copper heat pipes to efficiently move heat out of the chassis, while keeping noise levels extremely low (22DB in Whisper Mode).
It is also made for long-term reliability through the use of solid capacitors, durability testing, and a 3-year onsite warranty backing it up. On top of that, you still get room to upgrade with support for dual M.2 SSDs, DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, and additional SATA drives, so it’s not locked down like some compact systems.
Design-wise, this is where it stands out the most, with woven textures, rounded edges, and a warm 4000K lighting tone that blends into home environments instead of clashing with them, while the overall build aims to balance performance with aesthetics in a way that feels more intentional for everyday living.
