ASUS ROG’s latest livestream event For Those Who Dare: Boundless has showcased items of both technology and fashion which is very ROG ever since they took a step into the clothing and styling field.

The laptops in question are the ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE that took on the classic formula and the Flow X16 which is a brand new model of last year’s Flow X13. So let’s take a look what they have.

ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE

First up is the ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE that takes the original version and cranks the performance yet to another new high thanks to the use of the 12th Gen Intel Core HX series mobile processor and an i9 model at that while the GPU section has multiple option but it can go as fiery as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 175W of TGP to satisfy all your gaming needs. Other than that, gamers will also have the choice to either go for ultra-competitive screens with 360Hz refresh rate or drop that down to 240Hz to enjoy more pixels at 1440p. In any case, buy this and you won’t need to worry about gaming requirement for the many years to come.

ASUS ROG Flow X16

On the other hand, the successor to 2021’s ROG Flow X13 is finally here with the name Flow X16. First and foremost, its iconic ultralight form factor and fully flexible hinge are here to stay. But compared to the measly GTX 1650 within the last year model, this time ASUS ROG is going full bonkers with a top tier configuration housing an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti at 125W max TGP without even factoring support for the XG Mobile. While the display can’t match the Strix SCAR 17 SE, it is still plentiful enough for smooth gameplay and if the mini LED panel is selected, there’s even better contrast ratio, deeper blacks, lower power consumption, and more advantages to be taken of.
