ASUS has recently showcases the new ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 tri-band WiFi 7 gaming router at COMPUTEX 2024; let’s check out what it has to offer.
To begin with, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 router offers rapid wireless speeds of up to 19 Gbps with advanced WiFi 7 features including 320 MHz channels, 4096-QAM, and Multi-Link Operation. Boasting Automatic Frequency Coordination, it also brings up to 31 Gbps of wired capacity with dual 10 Gb Ethernet and quad 2.5Gb Ethernet ports for strong, stable connections.
When paired with Guest Network Pro, gamers can manage network features and devices via a dedicated SSID or VLAN. It includes settings for Kid’s Network, IoT Network, VPN Network, and Guest Network, with features like IoT device management, parental controls, and advanced VPN instant connection.
The router also includes a Gaming Network setting that consolidates all gaming features into a single SSID for optimal performance. Plus, it supports Triple-Level Game Acceleration which prioritizes game data packets from the device to the server for enhanced gaming experiences.
Not only that, but ASUS also announced Multi-Link Operation support for its next-gen Smart AiMesh feature in routers like the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000. This provides AI-powered wireless backhaul and prioritizes high-demand packets to the faster ban, while the router’s 10Gb Ethernet LAN port provides a dedicated wired backhaul option for an always-connected extendable mesh network.
