ASUS has announced they are now shipping the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 which promises no compromise in style and horsepower as long as one has the cash to host it in their rig.

As the very first GPU to have liquid metal on the GPU die, it harnesses the material’s incredible heat conductive property to quickly dissipate the burning sensation of the core which is then sent to the AIO cooling loop featuring custom-engineered cold plate, embedded pump fan, and optimized coolant flow rate.

The 700mm tubing and 360mm radiator allow a large amount of liquid flow and a big surface area to exhaust heat which means there will be enough thermal headroom to OC Boost this card all the way up to 2700MHz.

The magnetic fans are daisy-chainable for easy installation, minimize cable clutter, and also show off the impressive RGB.

ASUS also includes a bunch of exclusive software support for the card such as additional sensors for reading voltages within modules, chokes, and power input circuitry which are then fed into the new Thermal Map feature in the GPU Tweak III app for a more detailed breakdown, allowing expert overclockers to unlock the true potential of the card.

The Power Detector+ is a nice one as well since it can detect anomalies in the 12VHPWR cable and I don’t think I need to remind you how many RTX 4090 have been sacrificed thanks to this controversial wire.

Aside from the usual Dual BIOS Switch, one may also find out the usage of the card across its entire life with Mileage.

User may also utilize the new toggles like One-Click OC or manual sliders to fine-tune the card to their needs.

Availability

The ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 has started shipping globally but is still subject to local availability and prices. Buyers may also get an NFT for the card via the ASUS Metaverse site.
