ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has introduced its first and latest lineup of RTX gaming laptops for Malaysia Market – ROG Strix SCAR II and ROG Strix HERO II.

What is RTX?

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series graphics processing unit features the new Turing architecture. Instead of simply equipping the cards with tonne loads of CUDA cores, the new GPU features RT cores for real-time ray tracing and Tensor cores for AI + machine learning. ROG Strix with RTX

The desktop RTX cards have been around for weeks and ASUS ROG Malaysia has shown us the preview of the new ROG Strix series laptops. The ROG Strix SCAR II, built for FPS games, comes in 15.6″ and 17.3″ screen sizes with 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. The ROG Strix HERO II, on the other hand, is built for MOBA titles and only comes in 15.6″ screen size option. Nonetheless, it still shares the same 144Hz & 3ms display from its SCAR II sibling.
