ROG Malaysia has announced they are bringing in the ROG Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard slated for arrival next month.
This enhanced version carries the main spirit of the original and amps everything up a notch, now sporting a full aluminum-alloy chassis and metal frame for that “true custom keyboard” feel. The kit is manufactured through a total of 12 processes including sandblasting, anodizing, and CNC machining, for a stunning and durable look.
Unlike current mass-produced keyboard kits that typically use PC or FR4 plates, the Azoth Extreme uses carbon fiber (CF) for a cleaner and crisper sound while maintaining the rigidity offered by metal plates. As expected, it is stuffed with foams, including a silicone pad and two poron foam layers, to enhance the typing experience.
ROG also maintains yet upgraded the gasket mount design as it now offers an adjustable ‘Hard’ and ‘Soft’ profile that you can switch on the fly with a simple flick.
The keyboard also features swappable, magnetically connected feet with various heights for some extra style points, although swapping them out could be a little bit hassling compared to the standard kickstand legs.
For the ultimate gaming experience, pair it with the ROG Polling Rate booster for a true 8000Hz polling rate and up to 1600 hours of battery life.
The rest of the package remains unchanged, featuring ROG NX mechanical switches, hot-swap sockets, tri-mode connectivity, and a 1.47-inch OLED display with multimedia and other functionalities.
