ASUS and GIGABYTE have publicly revealed their chosen models for the new Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT graphics cards, so let’s delve into the details.

ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7800 XT RX 7700 XT

Starting with ASUS, they’ve opted for the TUF Gaming series produced in colors of black and white (what a hail-mary moment for full white rigs).

Designed with a 2.96-slot form factor, they emphasize longevity, simplicity, and subtle style this thing around. With an extensive 144-hour validation testing process, these GPUs are built to be long-lasting. This durability is supported by the trio of in-house Axial-tech fans, delivering increased airflow and static pressure.

The on-the-fly Dual BIOS switch allows for quick performance changes with a simple switch flick, and further adjustments can be made using GPU Tweak III. For those hesitant to adopt the ATX 3.0 generation, the dual 8-pin PCIe power connectors is here to stay so don’t go and buy a new PSU just yet.

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7800 XT RX 7700 XT GAMING OC

For GIGABYTE, this time they’ve opted not to go with the eagle-headed AORUS design and instead have remained within the root family design. Both models fall under the GAMING OC lineup and feature the WINDFORCE cooling system featuring three uniquely bladed fans that rotate alternately for enhanced airflow.

By incorporating a tighter contact between the copper plate and GPU die, composite copper heat pipes, 3D active fans, and screen cooling, they’ve effectively managed to keep temperatures in check. Furthermore, a dual BIOS switch readily allows users to switch between OC and SILENT profiles.

The GIGABYTE logo is softly illuminated by an RGB strip on the side, which can be customized using the GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER. Additionally, an upgraded metal back plate lends a more robust structure.
