ASUS Malaysia has launched the new ExpertBook B9 OLED and ExpertBook B6 Flip for executives and powerhouse workers who want modern looks, a sleek form factor, and performance in a single package.

ASUS ExpertBook B9 OLED 1

First, we have the ExpertBook B9 OLED equipped with a 16:10 OLED panel outputting vibrant colors and visuals sitting within a special Thixomolded-produced chassis that reigns in sustainability and reduced production footprint.

The internals host an Intel Core i7-1355U CPU with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD that operates at very high efficiency, especially for those who need to do time-consuming yet low-power tasks like proposals and online calls.

To compensate for the absence of thick coolers due to the focus on slim and light factors, ASUS has implemented a new dual-fan smart cooling system that operates at a quieter level and better cooling capacity.

One may also find the Thunderbolt 4 USB-C and USB 3.2 Type-A ports for peripherals and external monitor connection needs.

On the other hand, you’ll appreciate the larger touchpad for more precise movement (And supports the virtual keypad by the way), AI-powered webcam and microphone that captures clear footage and speech from your end, and other additional quality-of-life features that will make your work life much better.

ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip 1

Moving onto the world’s first 360-flippable workstation, the ExpertBook B6 Flip goes for full power mode with Intel Core i7-12850HX and NVIDIA RTX A2000 GPU complemented with memory options of up to 32GB DDR5-4800 RAM  and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The total TDP for the whole package is 135W (55W CPU and 80 W GPU) with no throlling and thanks to NVIDIA Max-P Dynamic Boost, the graph can be further tuned and optimized for more performance.

Cooling-wise, it is handled by a set of 7 smart sensors plus an algorithm for the best fan curves and power draw at the moment while staying relatively quiet.

Although it might sound comparatively like a “gaming laptop”, this configuration is “just enough” for the most complex industrial applications revolving around the aerospace, engineering, and AI-centric sectors.

The screen is a flippable 16-inch which is pretty cool but of course not too “prosumer” since not everyone “designs” with this kind of machine anyway. Since it is a flip device, it also supports finger touch and stylus input so pretty great for the “mouseless” gang.

As a final note, since both machines are of the ExpertBook family, business-grade security is ready to serve including Windows 11 Pro’s demand for the TPM 2.0 module, Intel vPro guaranteeing performance + feature set + additional security protections, and more, so that only you get hold of the data without any worry.
