ASUS Malaysia has brought in the refreshed version of the Dual GeForce RTX 2060 GPU with 12GB of VRAM.
Technically there are 2 new models – Dual GeForce RTX 2060 EVO and EVO OC where both of them retains pretty much everything in terms of design with the 2.7-slot heatsink with a large surface area for faster heat dissipation while the Axial-Tech fan with IP5X dust resistance moves more air while being more resistance against dusty particles. With premium capacitors and alloy-core chokes delivering robust power towards the GPU core and extended VRAM, those who are looking for a small upgrade that brings more visual fidelity rather than frames can look out to this card. But just don’t over-expect ray tracing performance from a simple 2060 to be on par with the RTX 30 series. However, thanks to the Ampere architecture, DLSS is applicable for it so practically there are more frames to be churned out than you think.
