ASUS Malaysia has announced 2 new X570 motherboards: 1 for the ROG lineup and another 1 for the ProArt series which is also the very first time for the digital content-focused market.

ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII EXTREME

The new ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme is just the best X570 motherboard from the brand that money can buy. The 18+2 stage design VRM with 90-A power stages provides clean and efficient power while 2 large aluminum heatsinks interconnected by a heat pipe will expel heat faster than ever. In the middle, there’s a 2-inch LiveDash OLED display that shows vital info of the rig such as temperatures and voltages or if you like, your own set of memes and GIFs for more fun. It also holds all the needed functions such as voltage measurement points, onboard controls, mode switches, and the Q-Code POST boot code display – your typical enthusiasts-grade motherboard’s must-have.

Thanks to AMD Ryzen CPU’s enormous amount of PCIe lanes, the Crosshair VIII Extreme is capable of handling 5 PCIe 4.0 SSDs in one go: 1 under the upper M.2 heatsink, 2 under the lower M.2 heatsink, and another 2 vertically mounted on the exclusive DIMM.2 card, all secured through the new Q-Latch mechanism. Connectivity wise, the board includes 2 Ethernet of both 10G and 2.5G, Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 with the ports covering the total amount of 2x Thunderbolt 4 and 8x USB-A 3.2 Gen2 with the internal headers being 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2.

For users looking to create elaborate cooling rigs, the Crosshair VIII Extreme has 4x standard fan headers, 2 pairs of connectors for pumps and radiators, plus two HydraNode headers that can power and monitor up to three compatible fans each while the connectors all have input, output and flow sensors within them to fully elevate all sorts of custom loops. Lastly, 3x Gen 2 ARGB LED headers, one 4-pin RGB and ARGB splitter are available as well.

ASUS ProArt X570 CREATOR WIFI

On the other hand, the ProArt family welcomes its first X570 chipset-equipped motherboard member that provides max stability and performance to the group of people who utilizes workstations for a living such as 3D artists, CAD designers, audio mixers, and video producers. The ProArt X570-Creator WiFi carries a 14+2 power design to the VRM with ProCool II solid-pin power connectors tailored towards the efficiently yet power-hungry Ryzen CPUs with large heatsinks shrouded over the VRM power stages, chipset, and M.2 slots sipping heat way for effective and efficient computing performance. For ports, it features 2x Thunderbolt 4, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, and 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 for handling all sorts of peripherals and external devices you can throw at it. If needed, the internal ASUS Control Center Express holds a couple of IT monitoring and management software while the ProArt Creator Hub continuously monitors and optimizes the system while automatically control color calibration settings for the displays (subject to compatibility).
