ASUS Malaysia has exciting news for educators, as they have announced the general availability of the new BR1102 series rugged laptops designed for K-12 students.
The BR1102 series includes two options: the BR1102C with a traditional clamshell design, and the BR1102F with a 360-degree screen but both are perfect for classrooms and families with active children who might accidentally drop or fling around stuff.
But it’s okay. These laptops are equipped with tough rubber bumpers protecting all four exterior edges, allowing them to withstand simple drops without any issues. The chassis is built using durable military-grade materials, ensuring their resilience.
Both feature a smooth, fingerprint-resistant finish that prevents smudges throughout the day. The spillproof keyboard is designed to continue functioning even in the event of liquid intrusion, with special cutouts for drainage.
Continuing the tradition, the BR1102 series incorporates an Antimicrobial Guard, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and promoting a healthier environment for young users.
In terms of hardware, the laptops are powered by an Intel Processor N100, which provides decent performance while maximizing battery life. With a single full charge, these laptops can operate for up to 12 hours. Additionally, the inclusion of a full-function USB-C port ensures quick file transfers.
The laptops also support modern protocols and features such as Bluetooth 5 and WiFi 5. Furthermore, the AI noise-cancellation microphone eliminates unwanted background noise during calls, ensuring clear and uninterrupted communication.
Both models are designed with easy maintenance in mind. Technicians can swiftly upgrade or troubleshoot any issues that require opening up the laptop. Skilled individuals can even perform these tasks themselves. However, since this is an educational device, ASUS offers aftersales services as part of the program upon request.

The ASUS BR1102C is priced at RM2,099, while the flippable model, BR1102F, is priced at RM2,399. Both models come with a 1-year on-site service coverage, providing worry-free and hassle-free operation.
