Aside from the laptop launch, Acer also introduced several desktop components, namely a new Predator Orion Gaming Desktop and 2 new monitors.
The new Predator Orion 3000 focuses on a much smaller form factor as its numbering portrays. Equipped with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060 SUPER, it comes with a default 8GB of RAM which can be upgraded up to 64GB if the user needs to multitask or performing memory-intensive tasks. For connectivity, the Stable Killer E2600 serves a high-speed gigabit wired connection while the Intel Wi-Fi 6 will handle the wireless part. The large FrostBlade will take care of the hot air generated by the components while the RGB lighting can be configured through Predator Sense. The side panel can also be replaced with an optional EMI-compliant tempered glass type as well.
The Predator Orion 3000 is available in 2 models: One with a Core i7 + RTX 2060 SUPER at RM6,799 and another one with a Core i5 + GTX 1660 SUPER at RM4,099.
The new Predator XB273U GX monitor is a 270Hz, 0.5ms response time WQHD Agile-Splendor IPS display at 27-inch that supports power delivery at 65W through USB Type-C and is NVIDIA G-SYNC certified. With VESA HDR 400 and 400nits of brightness for DisplayHDR, it is capable of covering 99% AdobeRGB wide color gamut with Delta E<2. Ergonomically designed, it allows gamers to adjust the height, swivel, and tilt of the monitor to a comfortable angle. It is priced at RM3,299.
For the non-Predator monitor, the CB342CK is more for the prosumers. The 34-inch UltraWide QHD IPS has a ZeroFrame design that minimizes bezels for a super clean and large estate look. The panel is also covering a 99% sRGB wide color gamut to deliver a natural and sharp visual experience at a 178° wide viewing angle. For quick and easy color adjustment, it has 6-axis color profiles to allow users to fine-tune for maximum customization. The USB Type-C port can also deliver 65W of power to eliminate the need for a power cord. To enable long and comfortable sessions, it comes with BlueLight Shield, Acer Flicker-less, Acer ComfyView, and Low Dimming technology to reduce eye tiredness and provide comfy viewing even after long hours of usage. The price of this monitor is RM1,799.
