A new series has been announced by Acer that focuses solely on ruggedness and durability, behold the Acer Enduro N3 laptop and T1 tablet.

Acer Enduro N3

The Acer Enduro N3 is the first laptop out of the series that is suitable for worksite-based workers such as architects, engineers, project inspectors, event managers, agricultural plant personnel. Weighing in at 1.985kg, it is fully rugged as it qualifies for MIL-STD 810G and IP53 certifications. Protective mechanisms such as Corning Gorilla Glass, water-resistant Aquafan and drainage holes will allow it to function properly and safely even after a quick submerge in water. There are 2 models for this laptop: The Core i5 variant at RM4,699 and another Core i7 at RM5,699.

Acer Enduro T1

For the Android pad, the Acer Enduro T1 is especially useful in smart retail and warehouse environment. Sporting the same Corning Gorilla Glass, MIL-STD 810G, and IP54 qualifications, it is powered by an Intel Celeron or MediaTek MT8385 processor with 64GB of eMMC storage space. To be more specific about its durability, it has been tested to surviving drops from over 1.2m, resistant to water and dust, and ready to operate in environments that require heavy-duty devices such as dusty and damp warehouses, industrial and retail floor at just 496grams of weight. The battery powering it provides up to 10 hours of use time and if needed, a range of optional accessories and a keyboard with programmable keys is here to serve the user better.
