Acer has announced that they are releasing a new Predator Orion prebuilt gaming desktop alongside a brand new gaming desk to give hardcore gamers the necessary ingredients to game at the very top level.
Needless to say, the upcoming Predator Orion 7000 series is just getting crammed with the most powerful hardware after hardware money can buy. Armed with the upcoming 12th Gen Intel Core CPUs and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 coupled with the new DDR-5 6400 RAM at 64GB, 4K gaming is literally child’s play for it. The chassis is fitted with 2 tempered glass side panels showcasing 3x Predator FrostBlade (2 at the front, 1 at the back) with a dazzling array of ARGB color strips while a flourishing number of I/O ports allows all sorts of peripherals and gadgets to be connected at one time, including 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 and double audio jacks at the front and 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2, 2x USB-A 2.0, and triple audio jacks at the back. For storage, the rig can host up to 2x 3.5-inch HDD, 2x M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 hot-swappable drives.
Acer also ventured into the market of “gaming desk” by releasing their own under the Predator brand as well. Coming in at 55-inches long, buyers can choose one of two available surfaces: Carbon Fiber for easy cleaning and design, or, a custom-made mousepad material printed with the Predator logo. The desk is made to provide ample room for complex setups by giving the users access to headphone hooks, cup holder, tray, and rack while the large surface area allows rigs to be placed on top of the desk and not on the ground too. Each side also contains a cutout to let you apply your cable management skills to make the entire setup cleaner and free from clutter.
