G.SKILL has unveiled an enhanced version of its DDR5 R-DIMM memory, featuring a 16-layer PCB for improved signal integrity and enhanced voltage protection with integrated transient voltage suppression (TVS) and fuse.
Crafted for enterprise servers and professional workstations, the new DDR5 R-DIMM memory is based on the newly released JEDEC revision standards. It incorporates an advanced 16-layer PCB, enhancing signal integrity for greater reliability and stability in data transmission.
To guard against power fluctuations, each new DDR5 R-DIMM module packs two bi-directional TVS diodes and a fuse, ensuring stable voltage levels and protection against power spikes.
With that said, the new G.SKILL R-DIMM memory kits built on the updated standards are expected to arrive sometime in mid-2025.
