Maxis has expanded its managed services portfolio by becoming a Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in Malaysia.
With this new role, Maxis can now integrate HPE Aruba Networking Central with AIOps (artificial intelligence for IT operations) into its networking solutions for enterprise customers. This enhancement is set to improve user experiences and provide more efficient, secure, and intelligent ICT services, including private 4G LTE and 5G networks, software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), and business Wi-Fi.
HPE Aruba Networking Central with AIOps offers AI-powered analytics, end-to-end automation and orchestration, and advanced security features to optimize both network performance and protection. This solution is designed to help businesses proactively identify issues, reduce manual troubleshooting, and continuously enhance network performance, ultimately improving user experience.
As cybersecurity remains a top priority for Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and senior leaders globally, the partnership strengthens Maxis Business’ value proposition by delivering even more secure networking solutions in an increasingly complex threat landscape. The Zero Trust Security foundation of HPE Aruba Networking ensures that the trustworthiness of every user and device within the network is continuously verified, enhancing overall security. The architecture utilizes AI capabilities to profile connected devices, supporting identity-based policy orchestration throughout the network.
Leveraging advanced technology and strategic partnerships, Maxis Business offers a broad range of solutions and managed services for businesses of all sizes. These services include 4G and 5G mobile connectivity, fixed connectivity, internet of things (IoT), cloud, and cybersecurity solutions. Maxis is also committed to driving innovation in the market, with initiatives powered by 5G advanced technology.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Maxis’ ongoing partnership with HPE. In 2022, the two companies were the first in Malaysia to offer Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) as a digital solution for enterprises.
Here are the statements issued by representatives from both parties during the announcement:
We are pleased to deepen our partnership with HPE to deliver greater value and security to Malaysian businesses. This partnership enriches Maxis Business’s existing range of Managed Network Services, providing businesses with the choice of leading networking and security solutions tailored to their specific enterprise requirements. This includes HPE’s wide range of solutions spanning access to edge to core networking, with built-in security. Together, Maxis Business and HPE can empower businesses by leveraging our combined strengths across connectivity, managed services, and networking so customers can focus on growing their core business.” – Prateek Pashine, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of Maxis
