The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti without a doubt, is the current best single GPU graphics card money can buy and we have experienced that ourselves in our recent review of the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition.
Similar to other NVIDIA’s AIB partners, ZOTAC’s AMP! lineup is known for its factory overclocked settings for that extra performance right out of the box. With retailers announcing the availability of custom GTX 1080 Ti from the AIB partners after the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti official launch, ZOTAC today officially launches its custom GTX 1080 Ti AMP! edition and AMP! Extreme edition in Malaysia.
ZOTAC GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Edition
Starting off with the AMP! edition, it features a base clock of 1569MHz and boost clock of 1683MHz, which is about 6% faster than the Founders Edition (reference card).
The card also utilizes a 16+2 power phase design for better, stable power deliver over the reference design with 7+2 power phase. As for the cooling solutions, the AMP! edition is equipped with a double fan ZOTAC IceStorm cooling fan design, which should be more than enough to handle the GTX 1080 Ti GPU.
ZOTAC GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme Edition
Moving on to the AMP! Extreme, it features a base clock of 1645MHz and boost clock of 1759MHz. Compared side by side with the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition, the GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme is 11% faster that the reference card. What’s more, its memory clock is given a 200MHz little boost from the reference design 11Gbps to 11.2Gbps.
Just like the GTX 1080 Ti AMP!, the AMP! Extreme too features a 16+2 power phase design for enhanced power delivery and extra stability over the reference design with 7+2 power phase design. With that extra amount of performance it can deliver, the GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme is branded with ZOTAC’s IceStorm triple fan cooling solution to kill off that extra amount of heat to keep the card cool for optimal performance.

Memory Speed Upgrade For Exisiting GTX 1080
Since NVIDIA announces the price cut and memory speed upgrade on its existing GTX 1080 and GTX 1060 graphics card at GDC 2017, it’s only the matter of time before AIB partners start offering their own variant of the GTX 1080 and GTX 1060 refresh. On ZOTAC’s end, both its GTX 1080 AMP Extreme+ and GTX 1060 AMP+ will be the models that is getting the extra memory speed upgrade to 11Gbps and 9Gbps respectively.
According to Mr. Ngee Seng Yeo, Regional Channel Sales Manager-APAC of ZOTAC, both the GTX 1080 Ti AMP! and GTX 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme is expected to be availabe from mid of April onwards.
