After announcing the premium wireless gaming suite that includes the Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro, the company has revealed the more inline standard edition Razer Blackwidow V3 and Blackwidow V3 TKL for your typical desktop gaming experience.

Razer Blackwidow V3

First and foremost, it is now using DoubleShot ABS keycaps and while most people prefer PBT over ABS for durability, Razer has promised its own version are extra-thick to compensate for the underlying problem to be able to match against the strengths of PBT keycaps. Enclosed by the keycaps are your usual Razer switches available in either Green or Yellow.

The newly integrated scroller and media key at the upper right corner are defaulted for volume control and track arrangement but is fully programmable through Razer Synapse 3. Similarly to the Pro version, it is built with aluminum as its chassis and has routing holes at the bottom side for easy cable routing.

Bundled with the keyboard is the ergonomic wrist rest to help reduce wrist stress and give you a comfortable gaming experience all day long. Aside from the classic Black edition, the Quartz edition is also available right from the start, leaving the Mercury edition behind but it’ll come eventually. This full-size layout is available for RM699.

Meanwhile, the TKL version takes out the usual right Numpad along with the multi-function media key scroller and does not include the wrist rest which is a bummer, to be honest. But being priced at RM490 while retaining the key composition of a competitive keyboard which is great keycaps and switches, I say it is at a reasonable price point, at least for Razer keyboard’s case.

Availability

Both the Razer Blackwidow 3 and Blackwidow 3 TKL is available for purchase right now on the official Razer Store online webstore but expect stocks reaching local retailers very soon. If you can’t wait you can always go online and buy from the official portal.
