TEAMGROUP has just introduced three of its latest M.2 SSDs: the MP44 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, the MP44S M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and the Gen 3-supported MP34S M.2 PCIe SSD, all of which offer increased capacity and consistent stability alongside cross-generation compatibility.
For starters, the MP44 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD has read/write speeds of up to 7,400/7,000MB/s respectively as well as a large storage capacity of up to 8TB. It also features an ultra-thin graphene cooling label with a thermally conductive material of less than 1mm thick. Measuring 22mm wide and 80mm long, it enables quick and simple installation and pairing with a motherboard’s original M.2 slot heat sink.
Following that is the MP44S, which also adopts the PCIe Gen 4×4 interface and boasts read/write speeds of up to 5,000MB/s and 3,500MB/s, together with a max of 2TB storage capacity in a small 3cm size. Not only that, but the drive is also fully compatible with gaming handhelds like the trendy Steam Deck, which is pretty neat.
Last on the list is the MP34S which employs PCIe Gen 3×4 interface and 3D TLC flash memory, and is capable of achieving read/write speeds of up to 2,500MB/s and 2,200MB/s. Catered for high-performance Gen 3 upgrades, the drive will be available in 512GB and 1TB options to meet a variety of application needs.
Availability
While there are no words from TEAMGROUP on the SSDs’ pricing yet, they are estimated to be available sometime in May 2023.
