ROG apparently has an exclusive campaign in China where they collaborated with Colonel Sanders in order to slap his face on every PC gamer’s peripheral – the keyboard.

Following Yanko Design‘s report on the matter, these beautifully crafted keycaps, albeit not doused with the good ol’ appetizing smell of frying oil, are made physically available and ready to pick up at selected KFC locations. In the set, you have the fully unique white keycap crowning the logo itself, while 3 “K”, “F”, and “C” variants are made in the R1 height for you to put on the F row, or the numbered one if you want to. And there’s the ROG logo one alongside the Caps Lock printed with a “lock on, wagyu” legend.

Ah, there’s also a cool black Enter key molded in double-height standard, not really usable in today’s keyboard style but it’s a novelty nevertheless.

Made from ABS material for that clack, this might actually fire back against the design as, you know, ABS material tends to shine overtime, and if you’re not careful, your oily fingers might actually make things worse. And coming from a KFC collab known for fried chicken, there’s a slight hint of irony, but meh, who cares if it’s cool.

As for how to get one of these, it’ll be given out for each Wagyu Burger set that sells for around US$5.60, and each purchase comes with a lucky draw to win full ROG rigs. Now that’s a campaign that can make PC gamers drool for both the meal and the coveted items.
