ROG Malaysia has just announced that the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) gaming monitor is set to launch in the local market this month. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer.
To begin with, the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV boasts ASUS Ultrafast IPS technology with a 1ms GtG response time and a native refresh rate of up to 360Hz for ultra-smooth gameplay. Its esports Dual Mode also enables gamers to switch to a resized 25-inch display at either 1080p or 2368 × 1332 resolution, delivering familiar proportions with ultra low latency for FPS titles.
Powered by a built-in NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, the monitor introduces next-gen G-SYNC Pulsar technology, combining VRR and advanced backlight strobing to deliver up to 4× effective motion clarity — an effect comparable to a theoretical 1000Hz display — without requiring CPU or GPU upgrades.
Plus, the G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive technology enhances comfort by using an integrated light sensor to automatically adjust brightness and color temperature based on surrounding lighting conditions.
