NVIDIA Abandoned Maxwell Architecture GPU? GTX 900 Series Spotted In Category of Legacy Products 1
Little do you know that NVIDIA has decided to not support the GeForce GTX 900 series graphics card any longer in the future, which has been confirmed that the series has become part of NVIDIA’s legacy products.

Although no official announcement was made, the GeForce GTX 900 series graphics card will no longer be receiving any form performance improvement for any upcoming game titles. A limited amount of support and fixes will still be provided to the GeForce GTX 900 series owners, but this makes it clear that NVIDIA will be focusing its effort on enhancing the new Pascal Architecture GPU GeForce GTX 1000 series to take on both Vulkan and DirectX 12 after a report that shows the GTX 970 defeated by AMD Radeon RX 480 and Reddit post showing GTX 1070 defeated by AMD Radeon Fury X on DOOM, being incapable to fully support Vulkan API and Asynchronous Computing.
