There are 2 types of people: One that doesn’t care about their GPUs and just wants them to be plugged and work as intended; And the one that wants to show off their top-of-the-line “90”s tier card they bought at 2.5k dollars. To the former, what they’ll see is almost always the bottom side of the card since the card is upside down. But what if you want some style without succumbing to PCIe riser cables and vertical mounting? Enter the “big-brain product” from Nagao Industry.
As one of the oldest players in Japan’s manufacturing industry, Nagao Industry is an expert in precision-based production, and has catered to many medical and communication gears over several decades, whilst being the partner of many other names such as NBROSJAPAN for PC parts, and that’s where their latest product comes into play – the ‘GPU Mirror designed to reflect the front side of your GPU card, enhancing the attractiveness of your rig!’.
What they meant by “front side” is essentially the fan/blower part, and usually the one loaded with designs and logos of a given brand. Some even have RGB strips, so I guess there’s a point in using this mirror to create more rainbow ooze within the case.
The description also said that it is an acrylic-based mirror that is tear-resistant but not scratch-resistant, and it comes with a magnet and includes rubber feet for easy installation, with the angle being freely adjustable. One thing to take note of is the 11-inch length of this bad boy, so yeah, it’s not for every single PC casing out there.
As for its price, it has seen a couple of fluctuations, starting from ¥3,680 (~US$24 or ~RM100) to ¥3,480 (~US$22 or ~RM96), and then to the current ¥3,280 (~US$21 or ~RM90). But if you want to get this, it’ll be hard since it doesn’t support direct Malaysia shipping. But if you do have some ways to order it via proxy, or maybe through a friend/contact or something, the price tag is definitely friendly enough for impulse buying without hurting the wallet too much.
