The world’s largest MSI Concept Store is now open in Kuala Lumpur. The shop is just located at BB Park right in front of the main entrance of Low Yat Plaza. This is the world’s second MSI Concept store. The first one, of course, is located in Taipei, Taiwan.
Exterior
The concept store has MSI Gaming’s signature black and red design with MSI logo and Dragon badge. The all-glass window panel makes the concept store looks futuristic and clean while at the same time provide sufficient ambient lighting into the store.
Ground Floor
The ground floor is the demo area with plenty of MSI gaming notebooks and desktop PCs on showcase.
The experiential zone includes the driving simulator powered by the newly launched MSI Vortex G25.
The most interesting of all is the dedicated VR experience zone. Powered by MSI VR One backpack & HTC Vive. The battery-powered VR One it allows the user to experience VR gaming without having to worry about dangling cables from the VR headset.
There are even MSI motherboards & graphics card on display.
First Floor – MSI Gaming Arena
Moving up to the first floor, and things got a little bit more excited with the MSI Gaming Arena.
The Gaming arena has plenty of space to hold one 5v5 esports game tournament setup. At the same time, there is still room left for the audiences and live game caster. Judging from the available space, I believe a 6v6 Overwatch match setup is not even a problem.
During the interview, MSI Malaysia Country Manager – Henry Chung has mentioned that starting November 2017, MSI Gaming Arena will hold gaming tournaments every weekend.
With the opening of the world’s largest concept store, it is clear that MSI is putting a lot of focus and investment in Malaysia’s esports community.
If you happen to pass by the area, do stop by the MSI Concept Store especially during the tournament weekends. Opens daily from 10am to 10pm.
