The Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation has officially started this year’s Malaysia Techlympics 2023 Outreach Programme.

Malaysia Techlympics 2023 1

Created to provide more knowledge and access closer to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) related activities, knowledge, and studies, the first 50 venues have been selected for the initiative with Sekolah Kebangsaan Pos Bersih Ulu Slim, Perak being one of the lucky early participants.

This is made to be in line with Malaysia Madani’s desire to create an inclusive society by providing quality education alongside basic needs so that the groups who usually get less attention will be able to thrive just as well.

Not only benefiting students, but the program also aimed to train teachers by arming them with the ability to interact with the younger generation in STEM topics through a more lively and youthful approach.

The Techlympics Makerslab which is also a subset of the program, given to SK Pos Bersih and SK Pos Tenau last year that brought along some of the modern learning materials like 3D printers and robots, is slated to return this year as well to facilitate delivery of these materials to more schools.

The official website for Malaysia Techlympics 2023 is currently live and accepting registration from collaborators, students, and youth so go ahead and see what you can participate to get the most out of it or follow their Instagram if you’re using the app.
