ILLEGEAR unveils their first mid-range gaming laptop with a full-sized mechanical gaming keyboard – RAVEN. This is the official successor of ILLEGEAR’s own Q5 EVO released 6 months ago.
As the most basic gaming laptop model under ILLEGEAR’s product line, the RAVEN system is engineered with Intel Core i5-7300HQ and Nvidia GTX1050 4GB GDDR5 by default. This could be upgraded to the Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU and GTX1050Ti 4GB GDDR5 GPU for users in need of additional graphics and processing power.
The RAVEN comes equipped with a fully mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting (mechanical keyboard switch developed by ILLEGEAR), a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, with support for up to 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (dual RAM slots), support of up to 4TB storage capacity (2x M.2 SSD and 1x 2.5” SATA slots), Intel 8265 Wireless-AC 2×2 WLAN card and 5x USB ports (including 1x USB Type-C).
Compared to its predecessor, the Q5 Evo, the RAVEN is 4mm thinner, 300g lighter and is overall smaller in dimensions, albeit the 23% bigger battery capacity. Furthermore, the RAVEN also features a 3-Watt subwoofer paired with its dual 2-Watt speakers. The speakers and subwoofer can be fine-tuned via the pre-installed SoundBlaster Cinema 3 software.
All ILLEGEAR Raven systems are pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Single Language by default.
