GIGABYTE has announced the AORUS RTX 3090/3080 GAMING BOX, the world’s 1st eGPU equipped with a water-cooling system directly integrated into the enclosure.
Moving the renowned AORUS WATERFORCE cooling system into a compact size, the AORUS RTX 3090/3080 GAMING BOX is able to achieve performance that is very close to the full potential of being within a standard PC rig thanks to the better thermal conductivity through a series of large copper plate, a 240mm aluminum radiator and two 120mm fans. Gamers are able to enjoy top-of-the-line experiences in ray tracing games, 3D animation, and even deep learning just by connecting it to any laptop with a Thunderbolt 3 port. At a similar cooling performance and airflow, the entire eGPU is able to achieve a lower noise level compared to other similar offerings. For connectivity, you can hook up an ethernet port to the GAMING BOX to let it connect to the Internet as well. On the other hand, the RGBÂ is also adjustable to your likings. Simply install the AORUS engine and RGB Fusion 2.0 to start configuring.
Local pricing and availability for Malaysia are not available currently so you will need to wait for a bit to get your hands on one of the coolest eGPU out there.
