Following Gamo2’s recent tease of the Phoenixwan Entry, this time aiming at the Sound Voltex community. A fresh teaser has officially dropped for the FAUCETWO Ultimate, a high-end model positioned as the premium evolution of the fan-favorite FAUCETWO+.
Having previously reviewed both the FAUCETWO+ and the ultra-compact FAUCETWO Portable Edition, we can see this “Ultimate” model as Gamo2’s answer to players who want more premium features and design than the standard model offers.
Early teaser render of the FAUCETWO Ultimate suggests an outer shell inspired by the official KONAMI SOUND VOLTEX CONSOLE -NEMSYS- Ultimate Model and the Valkyrie Model arcade cabinets. While not yet confirmed, this design shift indicates that Gamo2 may be moving away from the all-ABS plastic shell used in previous versions in favor of a more premium, metal-made outer shell.
The FAUCETWO Ultimate is expected to maintain full compatibility with Konasute Sound Voltex, as well as community-driven simulators like USC (Unnamed SDVX Clone) and K-Shoot Mania. Just like the FAUCETWO+, we expect similar customization options such as:
- DJDAO Buttons or Sanwa Buttons
- Default Honeywell switches or Omron switches (25g, 50g, and 100g) to suit different playstyles
- Default DJDAO springs (60g, 100g) or Sanwa Springs (20g, 60g, 100g)
- Ultimate Knob Design: This model is expected to debut a premium custom design that surpasses the current FAUCETWO+. Speculation points toward a full metal frame, magnetic torque limiters for smooth resistance, and premium encoders for jitter-free precision.
What’s Next?
Based on this updated timeline, it appears the wait for the FAUCETWO Ultimate will be longer than initially anticipated. While early indications suggested a year-end update, Gamo2’s current estimate of 6 to 9 months places the next major announcement in late 2026 or early 2027.
If Gamo2 follows the pricing strategy used for the Phoenixwan+ LMT, the “Ultimate” branding will likely command a significant premium over the current standard models. This increase would be attributed to the transition from an ABS plastic chassis to the rumored metal-made outer shell, along with the inclusion of higher-tier internal components like premium encoders and magnetic torque limiters.

We received further details from Gamo2 today regarding the latest specifications:
- Form Factor: The unit features a slightly larger footprint than the FAUCETWO+.
- Premium Build: The exterior is fully encased in metal, while the interior utilizes an MDF core. This hybrid construction ensures exceptionally tactile button feedback that rivals, and in some cases, exceeds standard arcade models.
- Enhanced Knobs: The default configuration now includes a redesigned knob assembly. This new internal structure preserves the signature feel of VM knobs while significantly improving long-term durability and reliability.
