After revealing a couple of high-tier NVIDIA RTX graphics cards at COMPUTEX 2021, Gainward has released several new models of the same powerful cards under the Phantom series.

Gainward RTX 3080 Ti Phantom

Technically speaking, 3 out of the 4 new cards that were announced this time are treated as “upgrades” since they have an original but older Phantom model. However, all 4 are now equipped with the brand new Phantom cooler design in which these fours are the RTX 3090 Phantom+, RTX 3080 Ti Phantom, RTX 3080 Phantom+ and RTX 3070 Ti Phantom+ with the “+” sign denoted as the upgraded cooler. According to Gainward, the new cooler design brings an average 7°C lower temperature than the original models, making the thermal overhead better and the overall performance and overclocking capabilities of the card more stable and consistent. Some of the great features include ‘Zero RPM’ for silent operation during low load periods and ‘Dual BIOS’ for easy swap between vBIOS tailored towards power user groups. Lastly, although the entire aesthetic of the card seems to be on the side of stealth and sleek, it actually has ARGB capabilities, allowing to sync RGB effects across the entire rig.

Gainward also provided some specification numbers for reference.
