The standard VivoBook series, VivoBook 14 (X412), 15 (X512) and 17 (X712), has finally inherited the new chassis that was first introduced with the VivoBook S line-up last year. It is now slimmer with four-sided NanoEdge ultra-narrow-bezel display and the innovative ErgoLift hinge allows a better typing experience as well as a cooler operating temperature.

CES 2019: ASUS VivoBook 14, 15 & 17 Has a New Chassis 4

The new VivoBook series will come in the new chassis with four colours for customers to choose from – Transparent Silver, Slate Grey, Coral Crush and Slate Grey.

The new VivoBook 14 has something extra up its sleeves, featuring the NumberPad – a solution to the lack of a dedicated numeric keypad on small laptops. In normal situations, the NumberPad is a glass Window Precision touchpad. With a tap on the NumberPad icon will turn it into an LED-illuminated keypad.

No news on the official availability and pricing in Malaysia yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
