BIOSTAR is currently exhibiting at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei for Secutech 2026, where they are going all-in in displaying a whole lot of edge AI and industrial platforms targeting smart security and smart city use cases
The main standouts are the edge AI demos from the MS-NANO and MS-NANX systems, both built around NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano modules handling real-time AI inference on the spot, and they’re showcasing things like traffic flow recognition and human action recognition that can be integrated into intelligent transport systems or public safety monitoring without relying on cloud processing.
Collaboration with MemryX continues through the MT-N97-MX3 platform with MemryX acceleration, showcased through a safety and hazard management demo usable in places like construction site monitoring, general site security, and even fire or flame detection – all thanks to the low-latency, high-efficiency edge computing that can react quickly in critical situations.
Alongside that, the MT PRO-U325 uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, plus models like the MS-1335U, MU-N150, and the more rugged MS-X7433RE and MS-X6413E, which form a tiered range that covers everything from high-performance computing down to compact or industrial-grade deployments, while still keeping AI acceleration in the mix.
Meanwhile, the new EdgeComp MS-NAT5000/4000 series is for high-end AI workloads. These systems are powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor platform, made for heavier processing tasks, so we’re talking about applications like large-scale surveillance, autonomous mobile robots, and more complex smart city infrastructure
One demo that’s getting extra attention is their collaboration with Netio Technologies, where the MU-N150 and MS-X7433RE are being used in a DIN rail-based network transmission setup. It’s a more hands-on showcase, but it highlights something practical – stable communication and easy integration in industrial environments, which is usually where a lot of these deployments either succeed or fail.
IPC boards are getting featured, such as the BIPTL-IHT for NVRs and smart gateways, along with the AI-NONXS that supports Jetson Orin Nano and NX modules for edge AI workloads like facial recognition and behavior analysis. On top of that, there’s a broader range of industrial motherboards on display, all designed for long-term reliability in demanding environments.
