BEST Express Malaysia recently stopped by INTI International College Nilai to run a career guidance workshop aimed at helping students feel more confident and prepared as they get ready to enter the job market. Not the usual generic pep talk, the session dug into practical advice on what employers actually look for during hiring and how students can present themselves better once they land an interview.

The workshop covered a lot of ground, from understanding a role and researching a company beforehand, to putting together a professional resume, clearly communicating your strengths and experience, handling common interview questions, and staying composed when things get tricky mid-interview.
Specifically, the shift in perspective is one of the more useful parts, because academic grades aren’t the be-all and end-all, and the company encouraged students to think about softer skills that actually matter once you’re on the job, things like communication, adaptability, problem-solving, teamwork, and just being genuinely willing to learn as you go.
This workshop is part of a broader effort by BEST Express to build closer ties with educational institutions across Malaysia and support the development of upcoming talent. Through partnerships like this one with INTI International College, the company’s aiming to give students more exposure to the logistics and business world, along with practical knowledge that can actually help once they start their careers.
Moreover, they have been pretty clear in terms of research, as the logistics industry is being driven by people as by technology and operations, which is part of why investing in young talent matters to the company.
Going forward, BEST Express says it plans to keep working with INTI and other institutions through more career workshops, industry sharing sessions, internships, and recruitment opportunities aimed at connecting students with real industry experience.
