ASUS has introduced the Ascent GX10, a partner system powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, designed to make AI computing at home more accessible.
This product aims to lower the cost and hardware requirements typically associated with cutting-edge AI development, making it a viable option for the consumer and prosumer markets. By doing so, it breaks the entry barrier by a lot in prototyping, fine-tuning, and inferencing large models—processes that traditionally demand massive computing power and memory.
With the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip at its core, the Ascent GX10 ensures seamless scalability. Projects developed on this compact system can transition directly to enterprise-level platforms like DGX Cloud, thanks to software compatibility maintained by NVIDIA.
In terms of specifications, the system delivers up to 1000 TOPS of AI performance and features 128GB of unified memory with FP4 data format support. It is capable of handling generative AI models with up to 200 billion parameters effortlessly. Additionally, the built-in NVIDIA ConnectX NICs allow two units to be linked together, boosting resources and acceleration speeds without requiring advanced technical knowledge.
