Long have we waited and ASUS has officially revealed the all-new Zenfone 8 series smartphones.

Comprising of the standard model of Zenfone 8 and another Zenfone 8 Flip with a rotatable camera, it is clear that ASUS is making clear trade-offs and differences between the two to allow buyers to identify what they need and what they want out of a smartphone – whether it is sticking to the classic or moving on to something special.

The base Zenfone 8 is kind of your run-of-the-mill smartphone without flashy or notable features by looking at it externally. It is the opposite, however, the simple logo at the back on top of the slick yet simple colors essentially make it stealthy yet powerful thanks to the hardware packed inside. It might not look the best but it’ll definitely perform at the highest spectrum.

Ah yes, the famous rotatable camera module returns once again from the previous Zenfone 7 Pro. Now adapting the Flip naming scheme similar to the ZenBook Flip laptop that is about rotating stuff one way or another, the Zenfone 8 Flip uses an all-screen panel thanks to the camera too, achieving a notch-less and clean front display look. Aside from the screen and battery, it is almost identical to the base Zenfone 8.
