ASUS Malaysia has officially launched a couple of new Vivobook series laptops for the local market in addition to some unique peripherals.
First, we have the Vivobook S14 (S3407) and Vivobook S16 (S3607) running the Intel Core Ultra 7 processors (Series 2) chip to go with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 1TB SSDs – a fairly standard and competent config for a thin and modern laptop. The FHD+ display can do up to 144Hz which is nice for daily usage, and they weigh around 1.39kg only. Oh, they have up to 20 hours of battery life too.
Aside from the Copilot key to launch the AI assistant, as well as the “working in the back” AI noise cancellation and 3D Noise Reduction for video calls, you also get features including auto-dimming and adaptive lock, plus a physical camera shutter for added privacy.
Remember the Fragrance Mouse we talked about a couple of months ago? Yep, it’s here – the Fragrance Mouse MD101. Quick recap for you all – It comes with a built-in fragrance compartment that allows you to drop in your favorite scent, and it even has a mild underglow for more vibes and aesthetics. However, pure essential oils are highly discouraged to avoid damage to the other parts of the mouse.
Also, it’s ergonomic and runs silent buttons rated for 10 million clicks, adjustable DPI, and PTFE feet for smooth gliding. It supports both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless modes, and should last about a year on a single AA battery.
Lastly, the iconic Marshmallow Keyboard (KW100) has returned with a refresh to go with the mouse. Similarly, it is compact, wireless, and now includes a Copilot key, too – all powered by 2x AAA batteries with up to 24 months of battery life and features quiet scissor switches for that low-noise typing experience.
