ASUS Malaysia has brought in the latest TUF Gaming A14 model (FA401EA) that supercharges the lightweight gaming segment through one of the most powerful mobile APU chips from AMD.
The processor is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 392 with Radeon 8060S packing 12 CPU cores, 40 CU of GPU power, plus the native NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS of AI performance, so it can cater to casual, gaming, and even AI workload without the need for a standalone GPU.
The NPU is also responsible for powering features like hand gesture detection, eye gaze correction, and Windows Copilot features, such as email summarization, directly on the device, all while consuming less power through dynamic resource allocation that provides power to parts that do the actual work for a given task.
All of this is squeezed into a 14-inch chassis that weighs as little as 1.48kg and measures just 1.69cm thin, yet still pushes up to 95W max TDP in Manual Mode, which is higher than many competitors in this size class, and that’s made possible thanks to stronger fan motors, new 97-blade fans, and micro-holes in the keyboard deck to improve airflow while keeping your hands cool during long gaming sessions.
