NVIDIA has finally announced its new GeForce RTX 3060 but it’ll only be available from the partners this time as there will be no Founders Edition for this model as according to NVIDIA. ASUS as one of the major NVIDIA board partners has also announced their new ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and ASUS Dual version of the GeForce RTX 3060 which will be available later in February.

From our recent briefing with NVIDIA, we were told that RTX 3060 will feature 12GB worth of VRAM to balance the cost and performance for the card only comes with a 192-bit memory bus. That aside, the RTX 3060 will also be able to enjoy the benefit of NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and NVIDIA Broadcast just like all the existing RTX 30 series graphics cards. NVIDIA also stated that the resizable BAR feature will be available later in February alongside the launch of the RTX 3060.

A total of six models has been announced, two variant each (OC and non-OC), under ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and ASUS Dual series. All models will feature support for PCIe 4.0, HDMI 2.1, and AV1 decode, but both ROG Strix and TUF Gaming models will be getting an extra HDMI 2.1 ports, totaling up to 5 display outputs, as well as dual BIOS for performance toggle.

Price & Availability

ROG Strix and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB graphics cards will be available worldwide starting from late February 2021. ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB will be available in early March 2021.
