AGI came to COMPUTEX 2025 with quite a full spread this year, showing that they’re serious about speed, style, and storage versatility. Whether you’re into bleeding-edge PCIe Gen5 SSDs or just looking for a faster microSD card for your upcoming Switch 2, AGI had something on display for just about every kind of user.
Gen5 SSDs Get a Boost: AI Series and Project Drives

Leading the lineup is the AI858 SSD, which takes the crown as AGI’s current fastest drive with up to 14,000 MB/s read and 12,000 MB/s write speeds. This is part of their new AI series, and from the looks of it, they’re pushing hard into high-performance PCIe Gen5 territory.
Also at the booth were two prototype drives. The first is Project P14, which ups the game with 14,000 MB/s read and write speeds, putting it right at the top of what Gen5 can do. It’s still in development, but looks promising for users who care about both raw speed and consistent performance.
The second prototype is Project P10, which features a slimmer Graphene Copper heatsink design, ideal for tighter builds or laptops. However, it trades off a bit of speed, with 10,000 MB/s read and 8,000 MB/s write, making it a more balanced option for compact setups.
To back all that performance up, AGI also demoed an AI stability test tool that monitors the read/write performance of SSDs. Their Gen5 drives showed noticeably more stable speed output compared to Gen4, which is a nice reassurance for anyone doing heavy data transfers or large project work.
TurboJet UD858 DRAM: Now in More Colours, Still Fast

Of course, AGI didn’t just stop at storage products. Their TurboJet UD858 DDR5 memory kits are now available in more colour variants, giving builders more freedom to match their system aesthetics. It’s not just for show either — the kits support a wide range of speeds from 6000 MT/s up to 8400 MT/s, which should cover everything from mid-range gaming rigs to enthusiast-level overclocking builds.
TF338 MicroSD Express: Ready for Switch 2

One of the coolest surprises was AGI’s upcoming TF338 microSD Express card, set to launch on June 10, just one day before the Nintendo Switch 2 release. This card is specifically designed with the next-gen handheld in mind, likely offering faster load times and better overall performance compared to standard microSD cards.
If you’re planning to get the Switch 2, this might be one worth grabbing alongside it.
EDM38 Pro and ED138 Pro: Portable Storage Gets Faster and Smaller

AGI also showed off updates to their portable SSD line. The new EDM38 Pro now pushes speeds up to 4000 MB/s read and 3600 MB/s write, nearly double the performance of the original EDM38. Great for creators and users constantly on the move.
For something a bit more compact, there’s also the ED138 Pro, which shrinks down the form factor from the ED138 while still bumping up performance slightly — with read speeds at 550 MB/s and write speeds at 500 MB/s.
Final Thoughts
AGI’s COMPUTEX 2025 showcase hits multiple fronts — from high-performance Gen5 SSDs and colourful DDR5 memory, to portable drives and Switch-ready microSD cards. Whether you’re a desktop builder, console gamer, or on-the-go content creator, AGI clearly came prepared this year.
