Usually, ASUS’s NUC products are about how powerful they are despite their compact form factor therefore they are quite costly. But for today, the NUC 14 Essential aims to flip that stereotype around as it guns for the budget segment.
This new offering comes with the latest Intel Core N-series processor featuring up to 8x E-cores with up to 42% extra performance compared to last gen models, making it a nice upgrade for office tasks, web browsing, videoconferencing, video streaming, and basic content creation, catering especially to office professionals and students where multi-display can really amp up productivity in which the system supports up to 3x 4K screens. I/O ports-wise, it has HDMI, DP 1.4, and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (With DP).
The NUC design also allows easy access to RAM and storage for quick and simple upgrades while the VESA mount kit is retained for versatile deployments in workspaces, digital signage setups, or kiosks. Its WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 ensure users stay connected with high-speed Internet and peripheral access while the standard durability test applies to this model as well for worry-free long-term operation. Aside from self-healing BIOS and management tools for efficient large-scale deployment,
ASUS also honors the device with a 3-year warranty, 24/7 customer service, and repair options for added value.
