ASUS ROG has recently launched the ROG Strix Platinum PSU series, featuring lower connection temperatures, intelligent wattage delivery, ATX 3.1 compatibility with Intel lab certification, and a 10-year warranty.
Designed to power any high-performance gaming setup, the ROG Strix Platinum PSU series packs a patented GPU-First intelligent voltage stabilizer (IVS) to deliver stable energy flow for overclocked GPUs. This stabilizer offers up to 45% more stable power delivery to the GPU, while also offering the option for a CPU-focused voltage sensor.
The PSUs are also equipped with gallium nitride (GaN) MOSFETs to improve power efficiency and heat dissipation, alongside dual ball bearing fans that operate quietly, with a 0dB mode for lower loads.
Furthermore, the series boasts 80 PLUS Platinum certification, ensuring at least 89% efficiency across all loads. The premium Japanese capacitors and advanced copper PCIe connectors used in these PSUs further enhance durability and performance while reducing energy consumption.
Availability
No pricing yet but ASUS has confirmed that the ROG Strix Platinum PSU series is available in 1200W, 1000W, and 850W versions, and will arrive in Malaysia around mid-October 2024.
